Hot Rolled Coil Pickled And Oiled (HRPO)

Hot Rolled Coil Pickled and Oiled (HRPO) is produced by running hot rolled coil through continuous hydrochloric acid pickling lines to dissolve mill scale, rust, and surface oxides, followed by an electrostatic application of rust-preventive oil. The resulting product combines the mechanical strength of hot rolled steel with a cleaner, scale-free surface that improves tool life and paint adhesion. Available in grades IS 2062 (E250BR, E350), DD, EDD, with thicknesses from 1.6 mm to 6.0 mm and widths up to 1,650 mm in dry or oiled surface finish. Primary mill sources include JSW Steel, Tata Steel, AM/NS India, and POSCO.
