Mild Steel (MS) H Beam (Wide Flange Beams / Universal Beams / Columns – NPB, WPB) is an engineered structural section featuring parallel flanges with uniform thickness from root to toe, arranged in an H configuration. Manufactured on universal rolling mills from blooms, its cross-sectional geometry provides balance between the major (X-X) and minor (Y-Y) axes, resisting buckling and axial compression. Available in grades IS 2062 (E250, E350, E450), ASTM A572 Gr. 50, and EN 10025 S355, with web heights from 100 mm to 900 mm and flange widths up to 400 mm, supplied in lengths up to 18 meters. Primary mills include JSPL, SAIL, and ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel.
