It offers uniform edge geometry (rolled edge or square slit edge), flat surfaces, tensile strength, and formability. Available in grades IS 2062 (E250A, E250BR, E350), ASTM A36, and SAE 1010/1018, with thicknesses from 3 mm to 50 mm and widths from 12 mm to 300 mm, typically cut to 6-meter straight lengths. Produced by integrated producers (SAIL, RINL) and structural steel rolling mills.
