✓ In stock across regional warehouses

Galvanised Coil (GI Coil) is produced by running continuous cold rolled steel strip through an alkaline degreasing line, annealing furnace, and a molten zinc bath (~450°C) to form a metallurgical zinc-iron protective barrier. It offers cathodic corrosion protection, resistance to atmospheric moisture, and mechanical formability. Available in grades IS 277 (CQ, DQ, Lock Forming, Grade 250/350), ASTM A653, and DX51D, with zinc coating masses from 80 GSM to 550 GSM, thicknesses from 0.18 mm to 3.0 mm, and surface treatments including regular spangle, zero spangle, skin-passed, passivated, or oiled. Primary producers include Tata Steel, JSW Steel, AM/NS India, and Bhushan Power.
