Prepainted Galvalume Coil (PPGL) is manufactured by applying an organic primer and polymer finish coat over an aluminum-zinc alloy-coated substrate (55% Al, 43.4% Zn, 1.6% Si) via a continuous coil-coating line. This combines the structural strength of high-tensile steel with the heat reflectivity and salt-spray durability of the Galvalume core and the weatherability of specialized exterior paint formulations (RMP, SMP, PVDF, SDP). Conforms to IS 15965, ASTM A755, and AS 2728, with base alloy coatings from AZ70 to AZ150, substrate yields from G300 to G550 (high-tensile), and overall thicknesses from 0.28 mm to 1.0 mm. Sourced from primary mills such as Tata BlueScope Steel, JSW Steel, and AM/NS India.
