Hot Rolled Strip is a narrow, precision-slit flat steel product manufactured by hot rolling steel slabs above 1,100°C and slitting the master hot rolled coils to exact narrow widths. It offers uniform wall thickness, tight dimensional tolerances, clean slit edges, and consistent tensile strength across the entire coil length. Supplied in grades IS 2062 (E250, E350, SAE 1008, and high-carbon spring steel grades, with thicknesses from 1.2 mm to 12 mm and widths from 20 mm to 600 mm, available in black, mill-finish, or pickled condition. Mills: NMDC, Tata Steel, JSW Steel, SAIL, and AM/NS India.
